Work on DropZone continues at a stop-start pace largely due to the current release cycle in work. Any free time I do have I try to make some progress on the game and I’m pretty happy with how its going. I’m pretty confident in the game design that it’s a decent distraction in its current state but a few more tweaks should see major improvements in playability.
I’ve got some metrics tracking implement which is working out great and it’s super easy to use. As we use metrics a lot in work for design I’ve come to realise how useful it can be as a tool for the game designer.
